Vega Digital Awards

The Vega Digital Awards were first introduced in 2016. Despite the crowded landscape of digital awards, the Vega is a standout. The young program burst onto the scene with one of the most stunning trophies in any industry.

The form of the trophy is that of a faceted, black nickel chrome humanoid male figure. This figure appears climbing up a matching faceted, mountain-like base. His arms are stretched upward holding a gladiator-type helmet above his head. 

The dark finish of the figure and base contrasts beautifully with the raised helmet, which is finished in either platinum, gold or bronze to denote the winner’s achievement. As if this program couldn’t be any more enchanting, the winning tiers are given bold names from astronomy – ‘Canopus’ for 1st Place (Platinum), ‘Centauri’ for 2nd Place (Gold) and ‘Arcturus’ for 3rd Place (Bronze). These are in fact the names (in order of descending brightness) of some of the brightest stars in the night sky.
